Aisha Raheem-Bolarinwa

Aisha Raheem-Bolarinwa is a Nigerian entrepreneur and strategy consultant who graduated from Queen Mary University of London where she obtained a bachelor’s degree in economics in 2011.

In 2019, she co-founded Farmz2U, an agri-tech start-up whose vision is to empower the next generation of farmers in sub-Saharan Africa. It develops data-centric technology solutions and helps smallholder farmers automate agricultural production to increase yield and profit.

Through its digital platform, it prevents food waste by helping farmers plan their crops. It has received several awards for its innovation and is trusted by investors.

In January 2023, Farmz2U joined the portfolio of venture capital and accelerator fund catalyst fund which already has 61 start-ups in emerging markets

It is one of 10 startups selected in the inaugural cohort of Catalyst Fund’s new $30 million venture capital fund. She will therefore be offered $100,000 in capital investments as well as $100,000 in practical business start-up support.

Aisha Raheem-Bolarinwa was a finalist in the 2020 edition of the Royal Academy of Engineering Africa Prize for Engineering Innovation where her company was recognized as a leading start-up. She was Nigeria’s national nominee for the World Summit Awards in 2019 and a member of the Harambeans entrepreneur alliance since March 2022.

A One Young World Ambassador since 2019, she was a project management assistant at London Metropolitan University between 2010 and 2011. From 2010 to 2012, she was also an operations partner at Waitrose & Partners. 

She has done several internships in companies like Shoosmiths, DLA Piper and Royal Bank of Scotland, among others. In 2012, she became a consultant for the business services and consulting company Tyrics Ltd.

In 2013, Aisha Raheem-Bolarinwa worked as a business writer for the Lybia Intelligence Group before joining the technology and investment solutions provider SEI as an analyst. In 2016, she worked in the company’s institutional client service. In 2017, she became the project manager of Schroders, a London-based portfolio management company.
