Just recently the Government of Canada through her Prime Minister, Justin Trudeau, officially recognize the International Decade for People of African Descent. This announcement came as a result of concerned citizens and organizations from across Canada, including the Federation of Black Canadians, who need the help and support of the Canadian Government.
In the Prime Minister’s word he said ;
“Today is an important day for Canada. Our commitment to the International Decade will help us better address the very real and unique challenges that Black Canadians face, and bring us closer to a more just and inclusive country.”
As an organisation we are excited about this news and we look forward to more great news coming out of Canada as regards fostering unity and and justice to all most especially Black Canadians.
