MIPAD wishes all the female honorees a happy women’s month and applauds them for their positive contributions in the society.

International Women’s Day is a holiday celebrated annually on March 8 as a focal point in the women’s rights movement. As MIPAD we take the whole month of March to reflect on how women have impacted the society, and take stock of how far we’ve come and what more should be done in the present  for further future change.

IWD gives focus to issues such as gender equality, reproductive rights, and violence and abuse against women in support of United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goal 5 (Gender Equality).
