Ohioze Unuigbe is the Government Services Sales Director, Africa at Bureau Veritas where he leverages his extensive industry knowledge and leadership skills.

Prior to this he was the Managing Director, still at Bureau Veritas before he received a promotion to this esteemed position.

He is a seasoned Chartered Chemical Engineer with a robust background spanning the energy and TIC (Testing, Inspection, and Certification) sectors.

Ohioze has held pivotal leadership positions; he served as Managing Director at Xmos Africa Limited and subsequently as Country Chief Executive at Bureau Veritas Nigeria Limited.

His career began in 2005 at Fluor as a Specialty Engineer before joining XMOS Africa Ltd in 2011 as Managing Director, overseeing a joint venture between Mos-Baker and Xodus Group. Transitioning to Bureau Veritas Group in 2017, he assumed the role of Country Chief Executive until 2023.

Throughout his career, Ohioze Unuigbe has demonstrated a strong commitment to driving operational excellence and strategic growth within the energy and TIC sectors across Africa.

Ohioze holds an impressive educational background, including an Executive MBA from Imperial College Business School in London, which he completed from 2008 to 2010. Prior to his MBA, Ohioze earned a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Nottingham, graduating between 1999 and 2002.

In addition to his formal education, Ohioze has pursued professional development in negotiation and influence, earning a certification from MIT Sloan Executive Education.

His academic achievements and professional certifications underscore his commitment to continuous learning and excellence in his career in the energy and TIC sectors.
