He spearheads the Feriji project, an innovative endeavor aimed at creating a comprehensive dataset, translation model, and spell checker for the Zarma language. In addition to his leadership in the Feriji project, Mamadou has made significant contributions as a Machine Learning Engineer to the Gates Foundation-funded project, “Generative AI for Education in Mali.”
This groundbreaking project harnesses the power of AI to combat illiteracy by generating educational books in the Bambara language tailored to cater to diverse readers.
