Folu Ogunyeye is an analyst at The Social Investment Consultancy (TSIC), where she contributes to impactful social investment projects. Prior to this role, she worked at Redstone Strategy Group, a philanthropic consulting firm in the United States.
Folu began her career as a Human Resources Program Analyst at BlackRock, where she completed rotations within the People Operations department and played a key role in a project focused on reforming the global Sickness Leave policy.
She is also a member of the board of trustees at SIEVEMK Gateway, a community-based nonprofit in Milton Keynes that provides affordable tuition and mentorship to racial minorities.
She holds a BA in Human, Social, and Political Sciences from the University of Cambridge, where she founded a social enterprise aimed at providing online career support to disadvantaged students. This initiative was recognized with the 2020/21 Innovate UK Young Innovators Award.
As a dedicated volunteer, Folu spent a summer in Dar es Salaam with the Cambridge Development Initiative, collaborating with Tanzanian students to provide entrepreneurial resources to young people.
She also worked as part of a research team at the Cambridge Centre for Teaching and Learning, where she developed recommendations to improve the academic and welfare support offered to Black students at the university.
