Nana Spio-Garbrah began her career in management consulting in major firms including IBM and Deloitte Consulting, LLP, From there, she transitioned into international finance and development – the major focus areas of her tertiary education, where she now specializes in resource mobilization and shareholder engagement. Formerly, she was focused on private sector development in Africa with an emphasis on financial intermediation and infrastructure PPPs. As a Senior Financial Analyst in the Treasury Department of the African Development Bank, she covered local currency bond issuances. She also leds the financial product sales and marketing efforts, specifically around Partial Risk Guarantees and Partial Credit Guarantees. She is a graduate of the AfDB’s Young Professional Program and served as co-chair of the Young Professionals Liaison Team (YPLT) from 2011-2012.
She also recently launched an interior styling consultancy called Blueprint Africa that provides interior decoration and advisory services to African homeware brands and retailers of African lifestyle products. She also sources coveted African art, furniture and artefacts for international clients.
