Meet Nina Marina Barbosa da Silva

She has been an IT Executive for more than 16 years, with international experience in writing, mentoring and serving as a technology business manager. She considers herself an African born in the Diaspora knowing that being of ‘African Descent’ is something more inherent in its history than just being born in Brazil.

She is the Founder of the Black Money Movement that works with Innovation, Mindset Entrepreneurship and Financial Education for the black population. I am also in process of launching Afreektech’s Black People Empowerment project, which caters primarily to black women in technology and business management, to generate a competitive mindset for professionals in the job market.

Additionally, the goal is to support black entrepreneurs to instrumentalize their business. Currently, her founding partner of Fintech D’Black Bank is in the current phase of prototyping and market fit.
Over the last 10 years, She has managed project portfolios, rollouts, and systems with experience abroad, along with large consultancies in the segment.

She currently work for ThoughtWorks as Project Manager, as well as companies such as Petrobras, Honda, L’Oreal, Heineken, among others.
She is passionate about speaking on the topics of Technology, Leadership, Fintech, Business Management, and Diversity in corporate and institutional environments; as well as mentoring professionals and entrepreneurs interested in these areas. She enjoys contributing as a columnist in journalistic reports about the social and economic realities of the black population in Brazil and world.
We are proud of her collective achievements and we name her Most Influential 100 Class of 2018 Business and Entrepreneurship category.
