Rashad Mahdi is the CEO, Made in Africa Project. Founded by Aliyah and Rashad Mahdi in 2014 after repatriating to Senegal West Africa.

The Mahdis’ wanted to find a way to help local artisans gain a wider range of clientele by exposing their work online and introducing their skills to the Diaspora!

Now only 2 years later the project is partnered with dozens of tailors, wood workers, artists and craftsmen in the SeneGambia region and ships hundreds of kilos of products internationally per month all while helping build local businesses and improve local and international commercial trade!
