Meet Uju Uzo-Ojinnaka

Uju Uzo-Ojinnaka is a dynamic entrepreneur and visionary leader, serving as the Founder and CEO, Traders of Africa (TOFA) and African Trade Invest (ATI), two pioneering platforms aimed at promoting Pan African trade and investment.

With over 17 years of experience in Strategic Marketing, Retail Banking, and Business Development, Uju has honed her skills in Credit Analysis, Negotiation, Human Relations, Project Management, and Leadership.

Her entrepreneurial journey gained global recognition when she pitched TOFA and emerged as the winner of the 2019 Entrepreneurship World Cup (EWC) in Nigeria, subsequently representing Nigeria at the global finals in Saudi Arabia. She was also selected for Jack Ma’s e Founder’s Fellowship program in Hangzhou, facilitated by Alibaba and UNCTAD, and serves as the eFounders Ambassador for Nigeria.

Uju’s impact extends to international platforms, including her invitation as a panelist at the United Nations General Assembly 2020 under the SDG Action Zone. She also shared the TOFA story at Jack Ma’s Netpreneur summit in Accra, solidifying her reputation as a thought leader in African trade and entrepreneurship.

Beyond her entrepreneurial endeavors, Uju is the Director of Finance, Marketing, and Administration at the Beniz Group Limited, where she oversees inventory procurement, management, and optimization, driving initiatives to enhance sales, customer experience, and operational efficiency.

Educationally, Uju holds a Professional Diploma in Marketing from the University of British Columbia and another Diploma in Creativity and Entrepreneurship from the Berkeley Institute for Creativity and Entrepreneurship. She graduated as the best student in Sociology from the University of Lagos in 1999 and holds a Global Executive MBA from the China Europe International Business School (CEIBS), where she served as the class president of CEIBS Zurich GEMBA 2016.

Outside of her professional achievements, Uju enjoys music, singing, reading, swimming, and actively engages in networking to expand her impact and connections within global business communities.

Her passion for promoting African products and driving economic growth through innovation and entrepreneurship continues to inspire and shape the landscape of Pan African trade.
