Yesterday, The Most Influential People of African Descent had a Panel Discussion at the Columbia University to discuss ”  Africa’s Role in the implementation of UN General Assembly Resolution 69/16″ with Honorable Abike Dabiri (Senior Special Assistant to the President on Foreign Affairs and Diaspora, Nigeria) taking the lead in the discussion and Tais Araujo (Brazillian Actress/Activist). Representatives from the United Nations and the African Union were also present. See pictures below 

The dinner for the Evening with the Class of 2017 holds today at the ONE UN Hotel New York City.  We are looking forward receiving our guests and honorees. We officially welcome everyone to New York City and to our Dinner tonight.
