She is Erica Loewe

Erica Loewe currently holds the position of Special Assistant to the President and Chief of Staff for the Office of Public Engagement.

Previously, she served as President Biden’s Director of African American Media. Prior to her tenure with the Biden-Harris Administration, Erica held the role of Deputy Communications Director to House Majority Whip James E. Clyburn (SC-6) and acted as Press Secretary for the House Financial Services Committee under the leadership of Chairwoman Maxine Waters (CA-43).

Before her congressional work, Erica functioned as a Director at a public affairs firm, where she collaborated closely with government and public relations clients to craft and implement strategic messaging to further their objectives.

With a rich background in stakeholder outreach, Erica has targeted diverse populations in various capacities, including supporting a former Congressional Black Caucus Executive Director, serving as White House Director of African American Outreach during the Obama Administration, and acting as the National African American Vote Director for the 2012 Presidential Inaugural Committee.

She is an alumna of the University of Florida.
