Suéllen Silva Rosim is a multi-talented figure. She is a Politician affiliated with the Social Democratic Party (PSD), Journalist, and Singer.

Born in Dourados, Mato Grosso do Sul, she later relocated to Birigui, São Paulo, where she completed her journalism degree at Centro Universitário Toledo (UniToledo).

Rosim gained prominence as a presenter and reporter at TV TEM Bauru, an affiliate of Rede Globo. After several years in broadcasting, she transitioned to politics in 2018, running for the position of state deputy with the Patriota party.

Although she didn’t win, her campaign garnered significant attention, securing 35,049 votes and earning her the position of the party’s first substitute.

Following her electoral bid, Rosim assumed leadership roles within the Patriota party, serving as the president of Patriota de Bauru and the state president of the party’s women’s wing. A self-identified conservative and evangelical, she has also made contributions as a gospel singer.

In 2020, Rosim made history by becoming the first woman elected mayor of Bauru. Her victory in the first round of the mayoral election underscored her growing influence and support within the community.
