Top 21 Contributors to the Creative Economy!!

It has undoubtedly been a year where Hollywood’s major players spent good money bringing content to our screens. Streaming content spend alone for 2021 sits at around $250 billion with companies like WarnerMedia, Disney and Netflix spending an estimated $20 billion, $24.5 billion and $17 billion respectively.

 

MIPAD attributes this huge spending to the growing influx of new players in the streaming space saying, “Competition is definitely a significant factor in the rising spend across direct-to-consumer entertainment and there are currently no limits in sight on just how much the key players are willing to spend to get the majority share of the market”.
