Dr. Alexander Ezenagu is the Founder and Chief Consultant of Sapient Consulting Group, a full-service professional firm, with offices in Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania and the Democratic Republic of Congo, amongst others.
He holds a PhD in Civil Law from McGill University, Canada and is a Professor of law with a career spanning over 13 years across Africa, Europe and the Middle East. He was, until recently, a Professor of Law at Hamad Bin Khalifa University (HBKU), a member of Qatar Foundation, Qatar.
He specializes and practices in a myriad of areas including: general law, investment and commercial law, trade and international tax law, construction and infrastructure development law, regulatory compliance, and developmental governance among others.
Within the last decade, he has been a great resource in rendering legal, research and expert consulting services to international organizations such as the UNDP, UNCTAD, CODA,MEFMI; corporate organisations as well as Universities and Institutions across Qatar, Hong Kong, Canada, USA, UK, Kenya and Nigeria. He is a graduate of the University of Cambridge, UK, McGill University, Canada and the University of Ibadan, Nigeria.
Dr. Ezenagu is a prolific author and has several articles published in high impact journals.
