Asha Mweru is the Managing Director for African Management Institute (AMI) Enterprise, a company committed to providing critical talent skills for the future of work.

She leads an AMI Enterprise division with a deep bench and an ever-growing footprint across the continent, including sales and learning delivery team members in Ghana, South Africa, Kenya, Senegal, and Nigeria. AMI Enterprise complements AMI Impact, the company’s other internal division which works alongside development partners to deliver large-scale learning and business growth programmes to support the entrepreneurial economy.

We know that Africa’s business and professional talent are the driving factors behind the growth of the continent’s established and emerging businesses,” said Asha who is based in Accra, Ghana.

Her passion for gender equality and entrepreneurship has contributed to her founding Women Work Kenya, an online network of over 4500 entrepreneurial and professional women in Africa, born out of the realization that the landscape in Africa is changing for women entrepreneurs warranting a new approach to developing the skills, networks and access to be competitive in today’s economy.
