Dr. Albert ZE has a PhD in Health Economics. For his work, he was decorated Knight of the Order of Valor on an exceptional basis by the President of the Republic of Cameroon and elected best African researcher 2019 and 2022 in Health Economics as part of the African Super Prize for Excellence.
In addition, he received, in 2021, the special grand prize for merit and professional competence awarded by press actors for the promotion of excellence and sustainable development in Cameroon. On February 10, 2022, the Government Daily “Cameroon Tribune” ranked him among the most influential young people in Cameroon. In December 2022, the magazine “Réussites du pays” ranked him among the 35 influential young people under 35 in Cameroon.
His research essentially aims to improve the health of populations in Africa through the establishment of health systems adapted to the socio-economic and cultural environment of the continent. To this end, Dr. Albert ZE is author of several books and articles, some of which are;
1) Le Fardeau socioéconomique du paludisme en Afrique: une analyse économétrique published in 2013 by Presses Universitaires de LAVAL, Canada.
2) Strategic plan for Health systems improvement in sub-saharan African: Analysis based on resilience, published in 2015 by Lambert Academic Publishing.
3) Les éléments d’appréciations de l’Etat d’un système de santé, comment comprendre les faiblesses de l’Afrique subsaharienne face aux crises sanitaires? Published in 2015 by Presses Académiques Francophones.
4) Stratégie de mise à niveau du système de santé camerounais: une révision des configurations institutionnelles published in 2020 by IRESADE.
5) Financement de la santé au Cameroun : comment résoudre le cas des insolvabilités dans les hôpitaux, IRESADE.
6) Effect of nutritional transition on the incidence of hypertension in Africa, International Society of Hypertension, New Investigator Symposium on Hypertension and Cardiovascular Disease, Beijing, China 2018.
