Duma Gideon Boko is a lawyer at Duma Boko Chambers.
This is a full service legal practice that employs 6 Associate Attorneys. It does a lot of public interest litigation and consultancy work on human rights issues.
He has carried out many consultancies both in Botswana and in Southern Africa and has participated as a Resource person in many human rights Workshops in Southern Africa.
The law practice has strengthened its involvement in the area of labour law, corporate law and intellectual property law. It also does a great deal of criminal defence work especially in commercial fraud cases.
He is also a politician who serves as the president of both the Botswana National Front and the main opposition alliance, the Umbrella for Democratic Change. He was the Leader of the Opposition in the National Assembly from 2014–2019.
