MIPAD celebrates her own on International Women’s Day

Today we recognize the women behind our excellence as we join the world to celebrate the International Women’s Day. Let’s break the bias and promote gender equality.

Here are our exceptional women in their sphere of expertise. These outstanding ladies have and continue to  support the Organization’s VISION.

Temitope Jemerigbe is the CEO at DKK & Global Director, MIPAD

Boss Lady as we fondly call her, is a titan of advertising with 25year’s experience from various top agencies in Nigeria. Sitting on several boards she champions causes for women empowerment, gender equality, sickle cell advocacy amongst a long list of other things. She does not believe in luck or chance, but in deliberate action and strategy to gain result. Her philosophy; “Keep pushing forward!”

Nina Silva is the MIPAD Country Director (Brazil) and Founder of the Black Money Movement and CEO, D’Black Bank which carries out financial and digital inclusion of the black community in Brazil.

Executive in Technology for over 20 years. She is also a Writer and Poet and she won Most Disruptive Woman by Global Women In Tech Awards 2021. Keeping winning!!

Johanna Leblanc is the Global Director, International Relations, MIPAD. A leading woman in International Relations (USA/Haiti).Ms. Leblanc currently serves as a Legislative Director at the United States Congress, where she advises on domestic and international matters.

She has also served as a Senior Advisor to both Haiti’s Ambassador to the United States and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs where she advised the government on intergovernmental relations, immigration, national security, and bilateral trade investments. She regularly appears on television across the African continent and the U.S., where she discusses foreign policy-related matters. You’re an inspiration!

Victoria Kiki-Obiakor is the Global Director Partnership and Digital Marketing MIPAD. A leading woman in Hospitality & Travel. She has vast experience in this field and greatly adds value to the team. She was the Director of sales in Rwanda and oversaw the sales & marketing, and the reservations team for a 254 room hotel equipped with state of the art conference facilities. She’s held similar positions in  Kempinski Hotel Gold Coast City Accra, Ghana and Four Points by Sheraton Lagos. Good job Kiki!

Mwende Mbevi  is the MIPAD Regional Director East Africa and Country Director Kenya. She is also the Executive Director at The Kenyatta Trust where she spearheads the process of selecting bright but vulnerable students as scholars of their high school scholarship program, into university or tertiary institutions. The students are facilitated employment or an entrepreneurial opportunity as the end game. She also oversees all budgetary requirements, the mentorship programs as well as the economic empowerment pillar. You’re doing a fantastic job!
