Dr. Randal Pinkett is a multifaceted individual, renowned as an entrepreneur, innovator, speaker, author, media personality, and DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) expert.
He leads the charge in business, technology, and equity for all. As the Co-founder, Chairman, and CEO of BCT Partners, a global firm specializing in research, training, consulting, technology, and data analytics, he champions diversity, insights, and innovation to effect transformative change, accelerate equity, and foster lasting impact.
BCT Partners has garnered accolades from prestigious institutions including Forbes, Ernst & Young, Manage HR Magazine, Black Enterprise, and Inc. 5000.
Dr. Pinkett is a thought leader in emerging technologies, big data analytics, social innovation, culture, and DEI. He is a regular commentator on MSNBC, CNN, and Fox Business News.
An accomplished author, he has written or co-authored several books, including “Black Faces in High Places,” “Black Faces in White Places,” “Data-Driven DEI,” “Campus CEO,” and “No-Money Down CEO.”
Education-wise, Dr. Pinkett holds five degrees, including a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Rutgers University, an M.S. in Computer Science from the University of Oxford in England, and an M.S. in Electrical Engineering, MBA, and Ph.D. from MIT. Notably, he was the first African American to receive the Rhodes Scholarship at Rutgers University.
He’s also a former high jumper, long jumper, sprinter, and captain of the Rutgers men’s track and field team, inducted into the Academic All-America Hall of Fame. Additionally, he emerged as the victor on NBC’s reality television show, “The Apprentice.”
Philadelphia-born and New Jersey-raised, Dr. Pinkett is an active member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated, and First Baptist Church in Somerset, NJ, where he resides with his family, including a daughter and two sons. Grounded in the belief that “for those to whom much is given, much is expected,” he prioritizes community engagement and giving back throughout his pursuits.
