Apollo Ssenyange is the Founder, Signals from the Grassroots,  a global youth empowerment NGO dedicated to bridging the gap between young people’s passions/aspirations and community needs.

He is a passionate practitioner of community betterment through youth empowerment. It has more than 4000 youth from 54 countries across 5 continents.

He has advocated for more and meaningful youth inclusion in decision making process at the 2023 United Nations High-level Political Forum on Sustainable Development (HLPF), the Athens Democracy Forum and the AFS Youth Assembly.

He is also the Recepient of the “25 under 25” award for young individuals making significant contributions to the African continent, the “Samsung Hidden Eco-Hero Award,” and acknowledgment as the most inspirational ambassador and Tide Turner by Captain Planet Foundation, Junior Achievement Africa, and Tunza Eco Generation.
