Bohani Hlungwane is a seasoned Banking Executive and Senior Global Corporate Banker with over 20 years of extensive experience across multiple regions.

He is recognized as a thought leader and speaker specializing in Africa Trade, Trade Finance & Working Capital, the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA), and Trade Digital Transformation.

Bohani’s expertise spans corporate banking, trade finance, working capital management, sales leadership, business development, strategic management, operations, transactional banking, and deal structuring. His current responsibilities encompass a group-wide role covering Southern, East, and West Africa.

Previously, Bohani spent six years in Asia, based in Hong Kong, where he served as Director in a Trade Finance Business, overseeing Europe, the Americas, and MENA regions.

He holds a Senior Executive Leadership Program certificate from Stanford University Graduate School of Business, an MBA with a focus on Strategy & Finance from The University of Pretoria’s Gordon Institute of Business Science (GIBS), and a Bachelor of Commerce Honours degree in Financial & Monetary Economics from the University of Johannesburg, South Africa.
