Gavin Lewis is a multifaceted individual, distinguished as an author, speaker, and business executive.

His debut work, “The Opportunity Index: A Solution-Based Framework to Dismantle the Racial Wealth Gap,” delves into the economic dimensions of inequality, drawing from both his personal journey and extensive experience as a senior finance professional.

Actively engaged in community and philanthropic endeavors, Gavin serves as a trustee board member of esteemed institutions such as the Old Vic Theatre Trust and the NFL UK Foundation. He is also a dedicated Patron of Hope in Haringey, contributing to initiatives aimed at fostering positive change.

In recognition of his unwavering commitment to diversity and inclusion, he was awarded the Freedom of the City of London in 2022. His advocacy efforts have earned him induction into the Martin Luther King Collegium of Sponsors at Morehouse College in 2023.

Gavin’s contributions to the financial services sector have not gone unnoticed. He was honored as the Senior Financial Services Professional of the Year at the Black British Business Awards in 2020. Additionally, he has consistently been featured among the top 30 Black Professionals by the Powerlist’s “Power in the City” bi-annual ranking in 2018, 2020, and 2022.
