Meet Rolake Rosiji

Rolake Rosiji is the CEO at Jobberman, Nigeria. The largest online jobs marketplace in Nigeria and all Sub-Saharan Africa. Core business of online recruitment products, skills development and job creation programmes.

Rolake  leads the team to build a market where technology is adopted more than it currently is. She’s been democratising access to the company’s services and tackling youth unemployment and underemployment. She’s a seasoned business leader at the intersection of technology, business and innovative social startups globally.

Rolake influences management decisions through membership of Senior Steering Committees and trusted relationships with senior executives. Partners closely with Chief Financial, Product and Technology Officers on annual investment cycle forecasting, planning and execution, including pitches to relevant stakeholders and customers to secure necessary funding.

She graduated from the University of Durham with a Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy, Politics and Economics in 2007. She later bagged a Masters degree in Development Management from the London School of Economics and Political Science.

She started her career with a graduate program at the International Transaction Tax Department in the UK from September 2010 to February 2011. Between 2011 and 2018, Rolake gathered more experience working with 4 different companies in different roles. Coffey hired Rolake as an analyst while PA Consulting Group hired her afterwards as a Consultant Analyst. She later joined the Royal Danish Consulate in Lagos as a Commercial Advisor.

For 3 years, Rolake Rosiji worked with Arla Foods in the corporate strategy and business development sector. In 2018, She joined M-KOPA, an asset financing company that helps people get finance for their everyday essential needs. At M-KOPA where she served for over 2 years as Country Manager in Nigeria, she headed the technology and sales operations for credit-financed smartphones and solar power sets.

She later left M-KOPA and joined Jobberman team since February 1 as the new CEO. She is the first woman to occupy the position.
