Meet Samallie Kiyingi

 

Born in Uganda, Ms. Kiyingi holds a first class bachelor’s degree in law and bachelor’s of arts degree in international studies from the University of Technology, Sydney, Australia. She is admitted as a solicitor in NSW, Australia and England and Wales.

Prior to her appointment as General Counsel at the African Export-Import Bank, Ms. Kiyingi worked as an independent consultant advising corporates and regulators on capital markets development in Africa after serving variously as the Director and Head of the Securitisation Regulatory Policy and Advisory Group at Deutsche Bank, London and Senior Associate at Clifford Chance, London. Ms Kiyingi began her career as a banking lawyer at Ashurst (previously Blake Dawson Waldron) in Sydney, Australia
