Ndidi Okonkwo Nwuneli serves as the President and CEO of the ONE Campaign, a global advocacy organization dedicated to fighting for a more just world by advocating for the resources necessary to deliver equal opportunities and healthier lives in Africa.
ONE employs a multifaceted approach to advocacy, utilizing hard-hitting data, grassroots activism, political engagement, and strategic partnerships to drive impactful change.
With over 25 years of international development experience, Ndidi has played a significant role in fostering innovative solutions within the global social innovation landscape, with a particular focus on Africa.
She began her career at McKinsey & Company’s Chicago office before returning to Nigeria in 2000 to serve as the pioneer Executive Director of the FATE Foundation.
Ndidi is the founder of LEAP Africa, a non-profit organization dedicated to developing dynamic, innovative, and principled African leaders, as well as African Food Changemakers, which supports African entrepreneurs in starting and scaling resilient and sustainable agribusinesses. Additionally, she co-founded Sahel Consulting Agriculture & Nutrition Ltd. and AACE Foods Processing & Distribution Ltd.
In addition to her leadership roles, she serves on the boards of several prominent organizations, including the Rockefeller Foundation, Stanbic IBTC Group, and the Young Global Leaders of the World Economic Forum. She holds an M.B.A. from the Harvard Business School and an undergraduate degree with honors from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
Ndidi has been recognized internationally for her contributions, receiving accolades such as being named a Schwab Fellow and a Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum. She has also received a National Honor from the Nigerian Government and the Harvard Business School Distinguished Alumni Award.
A published author, Ndidi has written extensively on topics related to entrepreneurship, social innovation, and resilient agriculture businesses in Africa. Her works include “Social Innovation in Africa: A Practical Guide for Scaling Impact,” “Food Entrepreneurs in Africa: Scaling Resilient Agriculture Businesses,” and “Walking for God in the Marketplace.”
