Tariye Gbadegesin currently holds the position of CEO at Climate Investment Fund, where she spearheads initiatives aimed at fostering sustainable investment in climate-related projects.

Prior to her role at Climate Investment Fund, Tariye served as the CEO of ARM-Harith Infrastructure Investments, a prominent Pan-African infrastructure fund specializing in energy transition and climate-resilient infrastructure.

In addition, she co-chaired the Voluntary Carbon Markets Integrity Initiative (VCMI), an international organization dedicated to ensuring the integrity and effectiveness of voluntary carbon markets for climate action.

Tariye’s extensive professional background includes global experience gained from roles at prestigious organizations such as the International Monetary Fund’s Western Hemisphere Department, the Boston Consulting Group, and Price Waterhouse Coopers.

Throughout her career, she has been actively involved in climate and economic development initiatives, holding positions such as member of the Climate Policy Initiative’s Global Innovation Lab for Climate Finance, Infrastructure Advisory Committee member for the United Nations Principles for Responsible Investment (PRI), and member of the African Advisory Board of the Glasgow Financial Alliance for Net Zero (GFANZ), among others.

She is a distinguished alumna of Amherst College, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in economics, and she furthered her education with an MBA from the Harvard Business School.
