He is Dr. Corey Forde

Dr.Corey Forde is the Head of Infection Prevention & Control Department at The Queen Elizabeth Hospital,Barbados.

He is an Infectious Disease Physician with primary medical training at The university of the West Indies three campus Mona, Jamaica, St Augustine, Trinidad and Cave Hill Campus, Barbados.

His Journey in Infectious Diseases and Infection Prevention and control ( IPC) specialty training started at the university of Kwazulu Natal Durban South Africa and completed his training at the University of Toronto, Canada.

He returned to Barbados to develop the Infection program and started a Caribbean regional network in Infection Prevention and Antimicrobial Resistance.

His passion is in the area of working with Low and Middle Income Countries in the fight against Infectious Diseases and Development of Infection Prevention and Control programs.

He continues to seek every opportunity to do so especially for the African continent.He works in concert with many international organizations and currently is the Executive Director of Clinical Diagnostic Services at the loan 600 bed public hospital in Barbados.
